TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 110 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED. These events are not controlled by TED, but event organizers agree to abide by our format, and are offered guidelines for curation, speaker coaching, event organizing and more. They learn from us and from each other. More than 3000 events are now held annually.

"TEDx NanshanHighSchool" is an officially established association authorized by TED. It was founded in 2017 and has continued to the fourth session.
"TEDx NanshanHighSchool" aims to organize activities and train speaking skills. The lecturers we have hired are currently well-known top figures in the industry; in addition, our event is held in December every year, not only to train teamwork skills, but also to hone you how to become a professional "organizer".

本社融合 TEDx 及 TED-Ed 於一身。
"TEDx Nanshan High School"以舉辦活動及訓練口說技巧為宗旨。我們所娉請的講師，為目前業界上著名的；另外我們的event舉辦於每年的12月，不但訓練團隊合作技巧，更磨練你如何成為一名專業的“組織活動者”。
